The Swans lost three of their past four games before the bye last weekend and will be out to salvage their season against the ladder leaders at Exies Oval on Saturday.
Griffith will most likely need to win both its remaining two games to make it into fifth, unless Narrandera loses to both Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong and Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes in the final fortnight.
Orton said he and the Swans' focus was solely on CAK.
"I'm taking it one week at a time," Orton said yesterday.
"We've obviously got Collingullie this week and a big advantage for us is that our last two games are at home.
"I'm not even thinking about the last game against Tigers, Collingullie is all we're thinking about this week."
The Swans will need to cause one of the upsets of the season to beat the Demons.
CAK has hit top form in recent weeks winning its past four games by an average of 86 points.
The Demons accounted for Griffith by 53 points earlier in the year but Orton knows the Swans can turn that result around.
"Our skills really let us down that day," Orton said.
"Decision-making and skills.
"We need to capitalise on that this time, rather than rushing.
"We need to look up a little bit and kick the ball out in front of a teammate."
Orton said the Swans are "up and about" ahead of Saturday's game.
"The boys are feeling pretty good," Orton said.
"They are really disappointed about the losses we've had, especially the one against Leeton. If we miss out, it will come back to the Leeton game, we should have won it.
"All the boys though are really looking forward to this week and our training runs have shown that.
"Everyone is up and about, we've had really good numbers and the skills have been on."
Griffith is hopeful of a full-strength team with only the one player in doubt.
