Wagga police duty officer, Inspector Peter Robertson, confirmed the 49-year-old had fallen off the bike and that no vehicle was involved.
Inspector Robertson said police were called to the scene of the fall - at the intersection of Holbrook Road and Bourke Street - to assist with minor disruption to traffic.
8.25am: A woman who had been out riding her bicycle has been taken to hopsital after a collision with a car at Lloyd this morning.
Paramedics were called to the intersection of Holbrook Road and Bourke Street just before 8am after it was reported a cyclist had been hit by a vehicle, an Ambulance Service of NSW spokeswoman confirmed.
The 35-year-old female was treated at the scene after complaining of tingling in her right arm, and paramedics took spinal precautions when treating her.
The spokeswoman said it was unclear if the woman was riding the bicycle at the time of the collision or if she had fallen and was then hit by a vehicle.
She was taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a stable condition.
It is understood the accident has caused major traffic disruptions on one of Wagga arterial roads.
