"With the resumption of federal parliament this week and the government intent on pursuing its agenda, I think climate change is back in the forefront of people's minds," Ray Goodlass said.
Mr Goodlass has answered the call of advocacy group Get Up to organise the Wagga march as part of a National Day of Climate Action.
He said Wagga and district residents would join with tens of thousands of other Australians at rallies.
At least 25 people have already said they would participate in Wagga, according to Mr Goodlass.
The Wagga march will assemble at Station Place at 11am tomorrow before walking along the Baylis Street footpaths to the office of member for Riverina, Michael McCormack.
Along the way, people will be asked to sign a petition, which will be delivered to Mr McCormack's office.
Outside the Fitzmaurice Street office, speeches will be delivered by Wagga climate change activist, Jim Rees, scientist Neil Harris and Wagga City Councillor Kevin Poynter.
