WAGGA Touch Association (WTA) has put out the call for all potential touch players to sign up for the new season.

WTA finished one of its best seasons on record when the spring competition concluded in December last year.

The new season will start in February but WTA will conduct an information night for team representatives on January 18.

WTA administrator David Baggio hopes the new autumn competition is just as well-received as the recent spring season.

"We had a record 14 teams in the Tuesday social pool in the spring competition," Baggio said.

"The autumn comp is usually a bit quieter when footy training starts, but hopefully we can get all the spring teams back for more."

Registration day will be on Thursday, January 28.

It will be held between 6pm and 8pm at Jubilee Park clubrooms but under an exciting new format.

WTA has moved further online and all registrations will need to be filled out online before the registration day.

"For the first time we're going with online rego," Baggio said.

"It's something new and there will be no need for other forms other than online."

Computers will also be available on registration night for those without internet access.

Payment can also be made via the internet.

The men's over 35 competition will begin on February 1, the men's and women's premier league on February 2, along with the men's and women's pool competitions.

The Sunday men's competition will start on February 7.

Mixed touch will resume on Wednesday, February 4.
