MURRAY Magpies will be "Twittering" their phenomenal success at the Hume League netball grand finals.
The Magpies have become the first club in the competition's colourful history to snare five different grade grand finals, and forever etch themselves into the record books.
In the unique sporting feat, the Magpies secured the A, B, C , C Reserve and Intermediate grade premierships.
Murray Magpies president Ted Miller said the girls had experienced a perfect five from five at Walbundrie on Saturday.
"We had five teams make the finals, and incredibly had five teams take home premierships," Miller said.
"The board has looked back through the records, and this is the first time in history that this has occurred."
The only grade the Murray Magpies failed to make an appearance, and for that matter win, was the junior grade.
Miller said the rare achievement stood out as a bright highlight from the Hume League grand finals.
"This was a huge achievement," he said.
"It was not only great for the club and community, but also for the league."
Miller said the club was brimming with talented netballers, but the success on Saturday was still a shock.
"They're always pretty competitive across the grades, but it was still a great surprise to come home with five trophies," Miller said.
The club is in an enviable position for future success.
"We are definitely in good stead for the future," Miller said.
"Girls that are too old for junior netball still stick with the club and climb through the ranks, and we always have a lot of players and potential at the trials and for preseason."
Miller said there was a strong bond through the netball teams at the club.
"They all train together, all the grades, and they train the same night as the footballers," he said.
"We are one big netball and football club."
The Magpies had convincing wins in B, C, C Reserve and Intermediate and never looked in doubt of defeat, but faced a tough opponent in the A grade grand final.
The game came down to the wire, with the Magpies stealing a one-point victory from Jindera.
