WAGGA'S hopes of making the Konica Minolta Cup finals could hinge on this weekend's match against Canberra association City and Suburban.
The match will be played at Wagga Cricket Ground on Sunday and the team hopes home ground advantage can deliver victory.
The team won one match and loss another last weekend while City and Suburban have lost both their matches to date.
A number of changes have been made to the team, mainly due to unavailability.
All-round er Andrew Dutton, paceman Dean Crane and big-hitting batsmen Todd Henderson and Josh Thompson come into the squad.
While there has been a big turnover among the representative teams this season, co-captain Ethan Bartlett believes there is still a lot of chemistry.
Bartlett said the team would be pushing hard.
"Everyone knows each other, we play against each other every week," he said.
"We've got a couple of players in this week who bring experience at a higher level and should be good additions.
"City and Suburban is its own association but is more social ... there are some good cricketers there and I think everyone's looking forward to the challenge."
Wagga got off to the perfect start last weekend, winning its first game of the Konica Cup campaign against ANU.
Co-captain Warren Clunes hit an important 53 while Tim Cameron was the pick of the bowlers with 3/33.
Cameron was again one of Wagga's best in the loss to Wests-UC scoring 32 runs and taking the only wicket while Ben Tett top scored with 46.
However, Cameron will not be available this weekend.
