AFTER flying around Wagga for the past two weeks, white corella, Baby, has finally returned home.Baby was scared away from the back garden of her Mount Austin home two weeks ago by a hawk, sparking a massive search by owner Dianne Dale.Fortunately, the sea-rch was brought to a happy end on Tuesday when Ms Dale received a phone call from a Springvale resident saying her beloved bird had been found."Because we had received other calls I was a bit hesitant to think it was her," Ms Dale said."When she was brought home I was still concerned it wasn't her but once I put her in the cage she gave Max (Ms Dale's other corella) a good talking to."Everyone is so happy she is back."Ms Dale also spoke of her surprise at how healthy Baby was after spending two weeks away from home. She said normally when Baby or Max were frightened it took them a few days to recover but Baby had happily returned to the back garden."It takes them a few days to get over it after a weekend away, so I was surprised she was in really good health," Ms Dale said.
