DISCOUNT retailer Go-Lo is closing its Morgan Street store in Wagga. The move is one of a number of closures in country NSW.The Wagga, Young and Dubbo stores will trade for the last time on August 8.A spokesman for Go-Lo's property section yesterday said the closures were because commercial agreements could not be reached with the owners of the properties. He could not rule out Go-Lo re-opening in Wagga some time in the future but said it could take a while."We hope to find another site," he said.Go-Lo is one of several discount brands owned by the Retail Adventures Group. The private company, owned by former owner of Kathmandu, Jan Cameron, bought the businesses from the embattled Australian Discount Retail Group for $100 million in March. The purchase included Sam's Warehouse, which has a Wagga outlet in Trail Street. There is no suggestion it is anything other than business as usual at Sam's.Go-Lo also has stores at Hay, Leeton, Albury, West Wyalong, Griffith and Tumut.– Ken Grimson
