WHILE record rainfall has rejuvenated Wagga's Lake Albert it has also led to a large amount of rubbish and debris being dumped in the body of water.
A community clean-up to get rid of the unwanted material on the lake's edge has been organised for tomorrow, between 9am and 11am.
People interested in cleaning up the lake are asked to register and collect rubbish bags at Apex Park or the Wagga Boat Club.
They are also asked to bring gloves and wear closed-in shoes.
Boat club members will pluck debris out of the water.
