Ashmont woman facing larceny charges

16 Mar, 2010 10:55 AM
AN ASHMONT woman is facing fraud and larceny charges after being arrested on a 2003 warrant.

The 33-year-old was arrested on Saturday for various outstanding warrants linked to alleged crimes committed seven years ago relating to false instruments.

Fake instruments relate to forged cheques or money orders.

Wagga police confirmed the woman had been arrested at her home in Ashmont.

It is believed a magistrate issued the warrants after the woman failed to attend court hearings relating to the 2003 charges.
